Application in Instrumentation

Manufacturers of Ukraine and the whole world use 3D printing in instrumentation to speed up the process of developing and manufacturing small batches of products. 3D printing technology Stratasys FDM allows to get the first prototype in the shortest lines, after which, as a result of several iterations, it will be possible to produce a functional prototype using engineering plastics such as ABS, PC (polycarbonate), PA (polyamide), PC-ABS, etc. High precision 3D printing allows producing complex assemblies and checking them for collection using all the internal elements. As a result, we get a high-strength, durable product that can already be sent to the end user for testing.

Stratasys PolyJet technology makes it possible to produce prototypes with the best quality; the thickness of the layer during printing can reach 16 microns. As a result, you can get a high-quality prototype for testing its focus groups, before the direct start of production. Connex3 technology can combine several different materials during printing, which allows printing in several colors or using materials with different mechanical characteristics for printing. To get a prototype that fully corresponds to the future real product is no longer a problem, 360,000 colors, rubber-like and transparent materials can now be combined in one product.

High-tech PolyJet materials allowed to produce a variety of tooling for assembly, mounting or positioning. A new step in instrument making was the use of these materials to create tooling (mold) for injection molding of plastics under pressure. Of course, this mold will not replace the metal one, but in the shortest lines it will be possible to manufacture a pilot batch of finished products and check whether the mold that will be produced in the metal has been correctly designed.

3D printing technologies for prototyping create accurate prototypes that set new standards for the realism of final products. The exceptional subtlety of the layers used allows you to create complex shapes, embody precise detail and extremely smooth surfaces. PolyJet 3D printers provide materials handling capabilities that no other 3D gives.
